About The Pilates Sphere

The Pilates Sphere is a boutique reformer Pilates studio in Richmond, London, owned and managed by Charlotte Faul.

Welcoming clients from Richmond, Kew, Barnes, Twickenham, Kingston, St Margarets, Brentford, Ealing and Chiswick, the studio is a beautiful, warm, tranquil space where you can focus on your wellbeing and enjoy a truly unique reformer Pilates experience in Richmond.

At the Pilates Sphere, we believe that Pilates is not just about fitness and aesthetics; it's about connecting with others, building relationships, and creating a supportive space where everyone feels welcome.

Meet Charlotte, Studio Owner

In the summer of 2024, after returning to the UK from Singapore with a dream of opening her own reformer Pilates studio, Charlotte fell back in love with Bootcamp Pilates in Richmond, the studio where she took her first Reformer Pilates class in 2016. She was lucky enough to have the opportunity to take over and rebrand the studio to The Pilates Sphere. Similar to how our clients feel about the studio, Charlotte loves the large, airy, light and bright space, offering the perfect location for a positive, uplifting reformer Pilates class. 

Before teaching reformer Pilates, Charlotte had 15 years in corporate business, running UK and global marketing and commercial teams for healthcare companies. Charlotte has experienced chronic pain (fibromyalgia) for 20 years, and in 2020, finally decided to have major spinal surgery as a last resort to try and reduce the pain. After a long recovery, and still experiencing pain daily, Charlotte decided to leave the corporate life and follow her passions of teaching reformer Pilates. Reformer Pilates has been the only exercise accessible to Charlotte during her long recovery, and today is still her main form of exercise, along with long walks in Richmond Park!

When she's not got her head under a reformer trying to change a spring, or walking around the studio spraying Aesop spray, Charlotte can be found spending time with her husband, her 7-year-old  son Beau, and her dog Luna, who is more teddy bear than dog. 

Charlotte's classes are all about high energy, high challenge, and a high chance of her teaching a weighted split squat on the reformer. 

Charlotte is Level 3 mat certified with Body Control Pilates in the UK, and reformer Pilates certified with FitNutLoft in Singapore. Charlotte also has a pre and post-natal qualification with Core by Gemma.

Charlotte teaches on Monday night, Wednesday lunchtime, Thursday lunchtime and Saturday morning.

Meet our Instructors

    Vicky

    Vicky has been with the studio for nearly 8 years, which might explain why her classes are so popular! Highly qualified and very experienced, her Monday and Friday daytime classes are usually booked out and her famous advanced classes are NOT for the faint-hearted. Vicky has an incredible energy, a great sense of humour, and her favourite exercise to teach is a side-lying leg press aka mega glute buster (her exact words).

    Vicky is certified in dynamic reformer Pilates, including pre and post natal, with TEN education.

    Felicity

    Our reformer queen with the warm smile, a brilliant sense of humour (it's a prerequisite to teaching with us) and a client following that even the Kardashians would envy. Felicity is constantly innovating her classes and despite being highly qualified and experienced, can often be found observing reformer teachers across London, and trying out new courses, to continue her learning. Felicity's favourite exercise to teach is a glute bridge, with all the variations.

    Felicity is certified in dynamic reformer Pilates, including pre and post natal, with TEN education.

    Tanya

    Tanya is known for her inclusive nature, her kind energetic spirit, and her ability to adapt and get the best out of every client. Tanya blends classical and contemporary Pilates moves, giving clients a full body workout focused on mobility, strength and flexibility. Tanya taught our popular Back Care Course and she has built a strong reputation for supporting clients with injuries or long-term health conditions. Tanya teaches Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

    Tanya is a BASI certified reformer Pilates teacher and she has a pre and post-natal qualification with Core by Gemma.

    Sophia

    Sophia recently joined the studio and alternates Monday nights with Charlotte, and occasionally teaches Saturday morning and Thursday 1pm. Her thoughtful and challenging full-body intermediate classes, as well as her controlled and inclusive beginner classes. Sophia can often be found practising her classes in the studio; the signs of a real pro!

    Sophia has a L3 Mat and Functional Reformer Training from the London Pilates Academy.

  • Ban

    Our Tuesday and Thursday evening trainer, who will give you the time and space to learn the moves in her beginner classes, and ramps up the challenge for the intermediate classes. Ban is known for giving clear cues and making sure everyone is moving well. Whilst all our classes are excellent for beginners, Ban's are a great shout if you have a Tuesday or evening spare, and you want to build your experience in reformer Pilates.

    Ban is level 3 certified in reformer Pilates with BASI, and has the Virgin Active reformer qualification.

  • Sarah-Ann

    Our Sunday queen! And our stretch queen. We can't imagine a world where Sarah doesn't teach our Sunday classes. Sarah's style, her unique classes, and her ability to teach a stretch class like no other, mean her Sunday's are very popular. Her favourite exercises to teach are lunges, so come ready to get those glutes pumping. 

    Sarah has AIQ level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training, and a dynamic reformer Pilates certification with Bootcamp Pilates. Sarah also has a pre and post-natal qualification with Core By Gemma.

  • Rebecca

    Rebecca joined our studio in Jan 2026 and has already developed a strong reputation for her excellent cueing, well programmed classes and her challenging advanced classes. If you are looking for a mindful approach to class, give Rebeca’s classes a go.

    Rebecca teaches Monday early mornings and Monday afternoon, as well as a Wednesday 1pm Advanced class.

    Rebecca has a level 2 in fitness instructing and is certified in Dynamic Reformer with Ten’s Pilates.

  • Ruby

    Ruby teaches our Wednesday 12pm Beginners classes and she brings a calm, controlled and thoughtful approach to her classes. Whilst keeping her class at the right level for beginners, Ruby varies her classes over the weeks, offering clients the opportunity to build experience and strength in a range of exercises, enabling clients to progress to the Intermediate class.
